Ingredients:
- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- Green food coloring (a few drops, depending on your preferred color intensity)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Heart-shaped sprinkles
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix well until you have a consistent dough.
- Gradually add in the green food coloring while continuing to mix. Aim for a bright, Grinch-like green.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
- In the meantime, mix the powdered sugar and cornstarch in a small bowl.
- Once chilled, take a spoonful of the dough and roll it into a ball. Then roll the ball in the powdered sugar and cornstarch mixture.
- Place the dough balls onto a lined baking sheet and flatten them slightly with the bottom of a glass.
