The flavors are beautifully balanced – the natural nuttiness of the pecans blends perfectly with the sweet and syrupy filling. Whether it’s for a Sunday family dinner or a holiday feast, this classic Southern-style pecan pie is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3 whole eggs, beaten
  • 1 heaping cup of chopped pecans
  • 1 whole unbaked pie shell

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. First, beat eggs in a bowl.
  3. Add both sugars, salt, corn syrup, butter, and vanilla into the bowl.
  4. Pour chopped pecans into the bottom of the unbaked pie shell.
