Yuletide Honey-Glazed Ham with Brown Sugar & Cloves

Ingredients:

  • 1 spiral cut half ham
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Place the ham, cut side down, in a roasting pan.
  3. Combine the brown sugar, honey, mustard, vinegar, and cloves in a saucepan.
  4. Simmer over medium heat until it reduces to a glaze consistency.
  5. Brush the glaze over the ham, making sure to get in between the slices.
  6. Cover the ham with foil and bake for about 1.5 hours, or until heated through.
  7. Uncover and brush with more glaze. Bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the ham is golden and crispy.
